I like using the "galaxy" color in my Anastasia cosmos palette. it's like a really dark navy/black shimmer and it looks gorgeous. I'm still in market for a deep burgundy vampy color but think I'm gonna go towards Tom Ford when I do.

I love vampy lipsticks, but not in traditional red. My absolute favorite is
NYX Shine Loud Liquid Lipstick - Self-Taught Millionaire. The picture doesn't do it justice; it's very deep dark in person I love it. I wore it to my company's gala last year and it was a hit.
